Training Providers

Equipping tomorrow’s workforce with the right skills is increasingly challenging.

Nowhere is this more true than the construction sector, where it is so important to combine hands-on experience with classroom knowledge.

Despite quality training, in such a difficult jobs climate many students will struggle to take their first steps onto the career ladder.

By working with Construction Futures, schools, colleges and training providers can help their students get a head start.

We use the planning and procurement system to ensure training and apprenticeship opportunities are tied into new developments from the word go. We then work with local training providers to source suitably skilled and site-ready trainees.

Construction Futures is up and running in Northamptonshire, where we work with a range of training providers, including three colleges.  Over time, our services will expand to cover other parts of the East Midlands.

“Tresham College is delighted to be involved in such an innovative project which will have great benefits to our construction learners and the construction industry itself. Real and relevant work experience with major construction developers is something that will help the students in the development of their career
